Bioimpedance analysers are now available from many different suppliers.

Prices range from approximately $600 to $3000 for single frequency devices whilst multifrequency machines commence at approximately $5000.

Imp SFB7

ImpediMed specialise in precision instruments for medical applications and design to meet the ISO Medical device standard ISO13485. The ImpediMed Imp SFB7 is the only commercially available bioimpedance spectroscopy (BIS) analyser. Their SFB7 analyses impedance at 256 frequencies distinguishing BIS from the typical multiple frequency approach of 4 to 8 selected frequencies. The SFB7 incorporates proprietary circuitry which yields a level of accuracy at high frequencies previously unseen in bioimpedance.
